Crushing Equipment
PRODUCTS / MINING INDUSTRY
The first step in processing minerals to extract valuable minerals from ore is crushing which typically consists of two or three stages.
Depending on their intended use, crushers are classified into various types. Primary crushers that include jaw crushers and gyratory crushers, secondary and tertiary crushers that include cone crushers, roll crushers and impact crushers. Ores that have been mined and have dimensions of up to 1.5 meters are crushed in the primary crushers to a size of 10 to 20 centimeters. The secondary crushers (and, if necessary, the tertiary crushers) then break them down into particles that are between 0.5 and 2 centimeters in diameter.
Gyratory Crushers
Gyratory crushers are excellent primary crushers because they can crush materials that are extremely hard and abrasive. The use of these types of crushers is usually for very high tonnage. Gyratory crushers have a dimensional reduction ratio that ranges from 1:4 to 1:7.

Jaw Crushers
Jaw crushers are another option for primary crushing because of their superior capacity to crush hard and bulky stones. Jaw crushers have a dimensional reduction ratio that ranges from 1:3 to 1:6. A V-shaped chamber is formed by the movable and fixed jaws in these crushers. The moving and fixed jaws reciprocate to crush the materials that enter the chamber. By maintaining the appropriate distance between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw, the size of the finished product can be changed. The smaller the distance between these two jaws, the smaller the finished product will be.

Impact Crushers
In impact crushers, the impact factor is used instead of the pressure factor. Most of the time, less abrasive materials are crushed with this kind of crusher. Depending on the model, this kind of crusher has a dimensional reduction ratio of 1:6 to 1:25.
